Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government Agency to engage a Senior Analyst. This position is located in their busy Parramatta office for an initial contract until June 2026.
  
About the Position
You will identify and secure new funding opportunities, exploring innovative financing models and partnerships to enhance the organisation’s capacity to deliver housing outcomes for Aboriginal communities. This role will focus on researching and analysing funding opportunities, developing and supporting the negotiation and implementation of new funding agreements with new strategic partners. This includes exploring potential new funding streams and organisational self-sufficient funding models within NSW Government guidelines.

Duties

• Research and analyse funding opportunities, identifying potential sources of funding and developing business cases to support funding applications
• Develop and maintain relationships with potential funding partners, including government agencies, private investors, and philanthropic organisations
• Provide sound financial analysis on potential business funding streams, including evaluating financial risks and opportunities
• Develop innovative financing models and partnership structures to support the delivery of housing outcomes for Aboriginal communities
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with organisational objectives and community priorities
• Support the negotiation and implementation of funding agreements, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
• Monitor and report on funding initiatives, providing insights and analysis to inform decision-making

Requirements/Skills

• CA qualification or equivalent experience in finance, with a strong background in private sector banking and financial services
• Advanced skills in financial analysis, funding models, and partnership structures
• Experience in NSW Treasury, Federal Treasury, or Australian Government funding agencies is highly desirable
