About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage an APS6 First Nation Relationships Officer (Indigenous Identified). This position is located in their State Offices for an initial 12 months + Possible 6 months extensions available.  
  
About the Position
The position will increase the First Nations relationships being built across the company, the priority of connecting with First Nations People, community organisations and peak bodies has become a significantly large task. 

Duties
The First Nations contractor will support the First Nations Relationships team and the broader First Nations Branch by being involved in First Nation Tours around the state locations. 

The successful Candidates will also possess the following capabilities and attributes:

• The key contacts for First Nations Peoples to build Basin capacity within community and connect with other stakeholders.
• Connections will be strengthened with more regular face-to face, and on Country opportunities with more time will be allocated to strengthening relationships,
• Protocols and processes with First Nations peak bodies and organisations (including Elders groups).
