Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage an APS4 Support, Audit and Compliance officer. This position is located in their busy Canberra office for a contract until 30/06/2026.
About the Position
The APS4 Support, Audit and Compliance officer provides support in HR, payroll, and compliance matters, ensuring processes run smoothly and accurately. The role involves responding to enquiries, assisting with reporting and audit activities, and supporting stakeholders in a professional appropriate manner.
Duties
- Engage respectfully with stakeholders
- Manage routine HR and payroll queries
- Assist with small projects/tasks
- Draft clear correspondence and reports
- Support changing priorities flexibly
Requirements/Skills
- Minimum 6 months HR experience
- Payroll & compliance knowledge
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to work both independently
- Experience in APS or similar desirable
