About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage a APS6 Clinician. This position is located in their busy Hobart office for an initial 12 month contract & 12 month extension available.
About the Position
The APS6 Clinician will provide high-quality mental health and wellbeing support to eligible individuals and their families, focusing on evidence-based counselling, risk assessment, and case management. This role involves working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver client-centered care and contribute to the ongoing development of programs and services.
Duties
- Provide client-centred counselling services
- Conduct risk assessments regularly
- Maintain accurate client records
- Participate in clinical supervision
- Co-facilitate group programs
Requirements/Skills
- APS6 or equivalent experience
- Trauma-informed practice knowledge
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Sound judgement under pressure
- Proficient in IT systems
