About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government Agency to engage a Community & Stakeholder Engagement Manager. This position requires travel between Penrith and Parramatta for an initial 3-month contract.
  
About the Position
The role will be responsible for all aspects of communications and engagement on the project. Major construction started in early 2023 and is expected to be completed in 2026. This role plays a critical role in a project delivery alliance for a complex and high-profile infrastructure project

Duties

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate communication and stakeholder engagement strategies for high-profile, complex, contentious, or politically sensitive project issues.
  • Work in collaboration with the Alliance Management Team as Transport’s senior communications interface, developing, delivering and managing communications and engagement activities to time and cost. 

Requirements/Skills

  • This is a site-based role in Penrith, and the successful applicant is required to be on site with the team 3 days per week.
  • The role is also responsible for maintaining and answering the project’s 24 x 7 community information line.
  • The applicant should have significant experience in working directly on complex infrastructure delivery projects and a proven track record of sensitively handling community and stakeholder issues.
