Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage an Enterprise Architect. This position is located in their busy Canberra office for an initial 7.5-month contract.
 
About the Position
The Enterprise Architect provides senior, hands-on architecture support across digital products, platforms, and enabling technologies, ensuring technology decisions align with enterprise direction and delivery timelines.

Duties

• Provide pragmatic architectural advice across applications, data, integration, cloud, and infrastructure
• Assess solution designs to identify risks, dependencies, and cross-system impacts
• Collaborate with delivery teams and solution architects to ensure fit-for-purpose designs
• Develop and maintain enterprise architecture artefacts, patterns, and standards
• Support architecture governance and assurance activities aligned to security requirements 

Requirements/Skills

• Senior-level experience as an Enterprise Architect in complex organisations
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions
• Experience working within APS procurement processes, including Digital Marketplace
• Experience providing architecture advice across multiple technology domains
• Strong communication skills for engaging senior technical and business stakeholders
• Ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 Security Clearance
