Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage a Senior SAP HR & Payroll Software Engineer (Developer) on a 12-month contract across any capital city within these states: QLD, WA, ACT, VIC, NSW, NT, SA, TAS.

About the Position
The role is responsible for configuring, testing and supporting SAP HR and Payroll systems, ensuring system integrity, accurate pay processing and effective delivery of system upgrades and legislative changes. This role is 20 hours per week. 

Role to commence in the later half of this year.

Duties

• Configure and unit test SAP HR and Payroll upgrades and legislative changes
• Analyse, fix and test payroll system issues, defects and data integrity
• Conduct parallel pay runs and support go live activities
• Support BAU and project testing across SAP environments
• Maintain system documentation and provide knowledge transfer to team members

Requirements/Skills

• Demonstrated experience in SAP HR and Payroll software development or engineering
• Strong skills in programming, systems integration, configuration and testing
• Experience with release, deployment and payroll system upgrades
• Ability to work with payroll processes including parallel pay runs
• Australian Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain NV1 Security Clearance
