Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage 2 x EL1 Senior Storage Infrastructure Engineers. This position is located in their busy Canberra office for an initial 12 month contract with a possible 24 month extension.
  
About the Position
The EL1 Senior Storage Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the design, deployment, administration and optimisation of enterprise storage and SAN environments within a large and complex ICT infrastructure setting. The role also contributes to documentation, troubleshooting, and mentoring, ensuring stable, secure, and well-managed storage and backup systems.

Duties

• Design, implement, and manage enterprise storage systems
• Configure and maintain SAN infrastructure and fabric switches
• Diagnose and resolve complex storage and infrastructure issues
• Develop and maintain technical design and operational documentation
• Support backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes

Requirements/Skills

• Australian Citizenship Mandatory
• Demonstrated experience with HPE, NetApp, or Dell storage platforms
• Strong knowledge of Brocade SAN environments and SANnav
• Experience with Veeam Backup and Replication
• Proven ability to produce clear technical documentation
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
