Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government Agency to engage 3 x Customer Service Officers. This position is located in their busy Newcastle West office for an initial contract from ASAP until 28/08/2026 with possible extensions.
About the Position
The Customer Service Officers will provide high-quality, multi-channel support to customers, responding to enquiries via phone, email, and online platforms in a fast-paced environment. The role requires strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to resolve complex or sensitive issues while maintaining accurate records and adhering to service standards
Duties
- Handle inbound customer phone enquiries
- Resolve complex customer service issues
- Maintain accurate records and notes
- Provide empathetic support to customers
- Escalate unresolved cases appropriately
Requirements/Skills
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Experience in high-volume call centres
- Ability to manage difficult conversations
- Competent using CRM systems
- High attention to detail
