About the Client
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage EL1/EL2 Procurement Advisors. This position is located in Canberra ACT, Melbourne VIC, Sydney NSW for a 12-month contract.

About the Position
The roles are responsible for delivering procurement activities, supporting complex procurements, and providing procurement and contract management advice in line with Commonwealth frameworks.

Duties
EL1 Senior Procurement Advisor
Deliver procurement activities in line with CPRs and guidelines
Develop spending proposals, ATM documentation and evaluation reports
Lead complex or high-risk procurement activities and negotiations
Provide strategic procurement advice to senior stakeholders
Maintain documentation, audit trails and compliance requirements
Escalate risks and issues and support audit activities
Mentor junior procurement staff and support continuous improvement

EL2 Specialist Procurement Advisor (SME)
Develop procurement strategies, spending proposals and sourcing plans
Conduct market research, spend analysis and risk assessments
Prepare ATM documentation including RFQ, RFT and RFI
Facilitate evaluation processes and prepare reports and recommendations
Lead or support complex negotiations and contract establishment
Provide specialist procurement advice, assurance and probity guidance
Support contract management, performance monitoring and variations

Requirements / Skills
EL1 Senior Procurement Advisor
Minimum 4+ years procurement experience in government
Experience leading complex or high-risk procurements
Knowledge of CPRs and Commonwealth procurement frameworks
Strong stakeholder engagement capability
Experience developing procurement documentation
Analytical and drafting capability
Qualifications in procurement and contracts

EL2 Specialist Procurement Advisor (SME)
Extensive procurement experience in a specialist area
Experience providing procurement advice or assurance services
Experience supporting or reviewing complex procurement strategies
Ability to lead or advise on specialised negotiations
Knowledge of CPRs and procurement frameworks
Strong analytical and drafting capability
Experience in Commonwealth government environments
