Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government Agency to engage two Lead Project Manager opportunities for a 6-month contract in Sydney, NSW.
 
About the Position
We are seeking experienced project professionals to support major infrastructure programs across development, planning, delivery and construction phases. These opportunities offer the chance to manage high-profile infrastructure projects while working within established governance, procurement and stakeholder frameworks.

Role 1: Lead Project Manager, Delivery – Engineering
Duties

• Manage infrastructure projects through delivery and construction phases
• Manage safety barrier programs, cycleway construction projects and road infrastructure works
• Manage procurement and tender processes
• Develop stakeholder relationships across contractors, consultants, councils and government agencies
• Resolve complex project delivery issues

Role 2: Lead Project Manager, Development – Engineering
Duties

• Lead the development and management of infrastructure projects
• Manage projects through planning, concept development and approval phases
• Prepare and review project briefs, feasibility studies, business cases and cost estimates
• Coordinate specialist consultants and technical advisors
• Work with councils, government agencies and community stakeholders
• Provide project reporting on progress, budgets and approvals

Requirements / Skills

• Experience in infrastructure project development, delivery and construction environments
• Experience within Government, Council, Transport or public sector infrastructure programs
• Strong experience delivering transport, road, civil or infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of environmental planning, approvals and assessment processes
• Experience managing projects from concept, planning and business case phases through to delivery and construction
• Experience preparing project briefs, business cases, cost estimates, tender documentation and project documentation
• Current Australian Driver Licence
• White Card (Delivery role only)
