Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government department to engage an AI Portfolio & Engagement Advisor for a 28/09/2026 – 24/09/2027 contract in Brisbane, QLD.
  
About the Position
The AI Portfolio & Engagement Advisor acts as the primary engagement point for business areas seeking to leverage AI. The role identifies, shapes, prioritises and governs AI opportunities while supporting successful AI adoption and business value realisation.

Duties

• Build relationships with stakeholders and facilitate workshops to identify AI opportunities.
• Assess opportunities for business value, feasibility and organisational readiness. 
• Maintain the AI initiative pipeline and monitor progress, risks and benefits. 
• Coordinate governance activities and support required assessments and approvals. 
• Prepare executive reports, dashboards and briefing materials for stakeholders.

 Requirements / Skills

• Strong experience in business relationship management and stakeholder engagement. 
• Strong experience in portfolio management, pipeline management or opportunity assessment. 
• Experience supporting governance, assurance processes and initiative approvals. 
• Strong communication skills with experience preparing executive reports, dashboards or briefing materials. 
• Experience with AI strategy, adoption, digital transformation or innovation initiatives.
