Christina Stone

Christina is a Nyiyaparli woman. Born in Port Hedland, she attended Marble Bar Primary School and South Hedland High School before moving to Queensland with her mother and sisters. She is one of eleven children, a mother of six and a grandmother of fourteen.

Over the past 20 years, Christina has contributed to numerous boards and committees, public and Catholic secondary schools, and government and non-government organisations. Christina has owned her own home daycare business and had a catering business with her sister for several years. 

Christina describes herself as a reliable, resilient and positive Aboriginal Australian woman with a passion for Aboriginal issues, and working with, and for community development. She keeps abreast of governance compliances and is committed to all personal and professional pursuits.
