About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage an APS6 Technical Business Analyst. This position is located in their busy Canberra office for an initial 6-month contract.
About the Position
The role would see you supporting data and analytics initiatives. It is hands-on and documentation-focused and is ideal for someone who enjoys technical writing and creating clarity from complexity.
Duties
- Create technical and process documentation with accuracy and consistency
- Translate discussions and high-level input into clear, actionable requirements and artefacts
- Prepare POC, Pilot and RFQ documentation, including scope, objectives, success criteria, and technical requirements
- Prepare tender packs with functional and technical requirements
- Perform gap analysis and document current-and-future-state processes, systems, data flows and integrations points
- Support rollout readiness and proficiency in creating technical documentation such as process maps, swim-lane diagrams
Requirements/Skills
- Proven experience in technical documentation and visualisation tools (Visio, Confluence)
- Familiarity with data and analytics concepts such as Data lakes, Reporting tools, ETL processes, APIs, metadata and cloud platforms
