About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with the State Government to engage an ICT Developer. This position is located in their busy Sydney office for an initial 9-month contract, with possible extensions.
About the Position
The ICT Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying customized solutions on the Salesforce platform. The role will support the creation of a digital solution for the SIRA Regulatory Framework, which standardizes insurance activities across NSW Workers Compensation, Home Building Insurance, and Compulsory Third-Party Insurance.
Duties
- Analyse, design, and develop Salesforce solutions using Apex, Flow, Visualforce, Lightning, and related technologies.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews to ensure solution quality.
- Deploy and migrate solutions using Azure DevOps, ANT, change sets, or other tools.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and provide technical support to stakeholders and end users.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, specifications, and user manuals.
- Stay current with Salesforce updates and implement best practices.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, project managers, and end users.
Requirements/Skills
- Proficiency in Apex, Flow, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and SOSL.
- Experience with Salesforce PSS, Omnistudio, Omniscript, and Salesforce APIs.
- Skilled in CI/CD tools, Azure DevOps, and automated deployments.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security, governance, and data models.
- Ability to design scalable, reusable, and maintainable solutions.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification (Public Sector Solutions certification a plus).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
