About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with the Local Government Agency, to engage a Business Analyst. This position is located in their busy Strathpine office for an initial 6-month contract, with possible extensions.
About the Position
As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in driving business process improvements and supporting the implementation of complex corporate systems. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to elicit requirements, model business processes, and recommend innovative, cost-effective solutions.
Duties
- Elicit and analyse functional and non-functional requirements.
- Model and evaluate business processes and proposed scenarios.
- Provide expert advice on business process improvement and automation.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and facilitate collaboration.
- Contribute to project scoping, planning, user acceptance testing, and training design.
- Synthesise complex analysis into actionable insights.
Requirements/Skills
- Degree in Business, Information Systems, or relevant field (or equivalent experience).
- Substantial experience in enterprise-level ICT projects.
- Strong skills in business process design, feasibility assessment, and benefits realisation.
- High-level communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Industry certifications in Business Analysis or Project disciplines (highly regarded).
- Experience in Local or State Government (highly regarded).
