About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government Agency to engage a Revenue Officer. This position is located in their busy Newcastle office for an initial 5-month contract, with possible extensions available.
About the Position
The Revenue Officer will provide frontline client service and undertake a range of financial administrative tasks to manage client accounts. This includes receipting, refunds, reconciliation, and debt recovery. The role supports internal business plans and ensures compliance with audit and policy guidelines.
Duties
- Provide consistent and effective client service
- Manage client accounts: receipting, refunds, reconciliation, and enquiries
- Undertake revenue collection and debt recovery tasks
- Maintain data integrity and accuracy
- Generate reports and provide information to management
Requirements/Skills
- Strong customer service and attention to detail
- Experience in accounts processing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
- Ability to follow procedures and work independently
- Team collaboration skills
- Preferred: Relevant qualification or experience in revenue collection/debt management
