About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government Agency to engage a Facilities & Projects Coordinator. This position is located in their busy Parramatta office for an initial 6-month contract.
  
About the Position
The role will be supporting the effective delivery of facilities management, property projects, and asset administration by coordinating maintenance activities, service requests, compliance tasks, and vendor processes.

Duties

  • Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance activities across facilities, including scheduling inspections and servicing for critical building equipment (e.g. fire safety, defibrillators, security systems) in line with compliance standards
  • Assist in the administration and monitoring of facility service contracts (e.g. cleaning, security, office supplies), ensuring performance standards are met and expenditure is accurately tracked
  •  Maintain and update property and asset registers to support timely repair, replacement, and disposal of equipment in accordance with policies and regulatory obligations
  • Provide administrative support across facilities and project functions, including coordination of purchasing activities, and assisting with vendor and budget tracking
  • Support minor property project activities such as office fit-outs, relocations, and facilities upgrades by liaising with contractors, tracking project milestones, and ensuring timely delivery


Requirements/Skills

  •  Relevant tertiary certificate or experience deemed equivalent 
  •  Current NSW drivers licence
